About Us
Queen of Peace Bookstore is a Catholic bookstore inspired by Our Lady of Medjugorje who declared herself as the Queen of Peace. She appeared to six children in the former Yugoslavia, and asked us to return to our faith in God because he exists and to pray for peace because the world is in crisis.
We opened our doors for business over 17 years ago, on July 16th. Also the date of the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. We have since provided the city of Vancouver, Washington and it's surrounding areas with over 5,000 Catholic related items including Catholic publications, Music, film, and many other gifts. After over fifteen years of serving our local community, we embarked on creating an online shopping experience for the Catholic community abroad, and thus, Queenofpeacebooks.com was launched.
We currently offer over 2,000 items online, and continue to add new items daily to provide our customers abroad with the same selection we offer our loyal local patrons.
